My Story
First things first, I'm going to lay this out on the line for you....imagine an old stone cottage home far away on the rolling plains of old Ireland, or even England...with a quill, and ink well, and a fresh piece of parchment before me. Lit only by candle light, the stories of my childhood come pouring across the pages...the smell of simple beeswax tickling my nose. And don't forget the kettle on the firestove, boiling water for my coffee...that is my heaven. What does this have to do with Scentsy? I'll tell you:My name is Jennifer Ruth Myers, and I LOVE candles, and I love adding fragrance to the rooms that I'm in. Cranberry puts me in the mood for baking, Cashmere puts me in the mood to entertain. Lemongrass gets me going when I have no desire to clean my home, and blueberry cheesecake just makes me want to curl up with a good book and a cup of Nescafe Coffee...I was a diehard Yankee Candle fan, but the minute I found Scentsy, well, honestly, the first time I saw it, I declined saying my 'other candles' were better. I was SOOOOO wrong. I love the candle light, but the soft glow from my Scently wall burner is perfect for shedding just the right amount of light when the writer's block finally lifts!! The fragrance is amazing, and not only does it fill one room, but your fragrance of choice will reach even the farthest corners of your home and splash delightful zephyrs of scent into each area!!I am now the proud mama of Charlotte Josephine!! She is the real reason I'm doing this....I love the product, but I love the fact that I can spend more time with my little one now that I can set my own schedule. The peace of mind is sometimes overwhelming. I would love the opportunity to share with you all of the neat aspects of a Scentsy life and what it means to me to have something fun to share with my ltitle one...and to share with others!!
